- Balthazar Gosset is a clothing designer and illustrator, trained at École Duperré through to a Master’s in fashion. Based in Parisian ateliers for four years, he has exhibited his work on several occasions. Drawing and sewing are the essence of his practice — he draws directly onto fabric, reproducing materials like brick, cardboard and tape in black and white to create trompe-l’œil effects. Each garment is conceived as a unique piece, closer to haute couture or stage costume, driven by a search for visions of clothing rarely seen elsewhere.
